Ark Fibre Optics offer a wide range of fibre optic connectors in both multimode and singlemode. We stock a range of the the industry standard connectors such as LC, ST, SC, FC. We offer connectors for the use with 900um fibre and 2mm and 3mm patch lead fibre cable.

4 to 24 Tight buffered optical fibre cables have been designed specifically for internal and external applications. These compact, lightweight cables are extremely flexible and are quick and easy to install. The cables are constructed around swellable reinforced yarns as common strength members containing up to 24 colour coded 900µm tight buffered fibres, covered with a flame retardant, low smoke zero halogen, outer sheath.

Corrugated Steel Tape Armoured (CSTA) Fibre Optic Cable offers extra protection by having a steel tape under the outer jacket which makes it perfect for direct burial applications as well as offering rodent protection. The cable is more suited to external applications where the cable may be installed into ducting that might be flooded from time to time. CSTA is available in 4-24 Core varieties and in both single and multimode options.

Steel Wire Armoured (SWA) Fibre Optic cable has an internal cable with a gel filled central tube which protects the fibres and also offers protection against water ingress, On top of this cable is a steel wire protection layer beneath the outer cable jacket. This steel wire offers greater protection and makes the cables suitable for direct burial as well as offering superior rodent protection. The cable is more suited to external applications where the cable my be installed into ducting that may be flooded from time to time.
