What are LC IP68 Fibre Optic Cable Connectors and what are the available options?
Our LC IP68 fibre optic cable range is available in 2-12 Core versions, supplied on handy re-deployable cable reels. We use standard LC Duplex fibre connectors within an IP68 connector cover which mates to an IP68 female adapter. Ark Fibre Optic’s deployable cables are available in various options and can be customised to suit your requirements. The cable is MilTac (MILitary TACtical) and designed for repeated deployment.

LC IP68 Plug to LC IP68 Plug:
This LC IP68 Plug to LC IP68 Plug Deployable Cable comes with a duplex IP68 LC Plug on each end of the cable. These can be mated with corresponding LC IP68 bulkhead/panel mounted adapters. This allows for patching into equipment via normal LC patch leads.
The LC IP68 reels can be connected to one another while still maintaining an IP68 rating. This is achieved by using an inline LC IP68 adapter. This is particularly useful for long links where running a single 1000m cable isn’t suitable.
LC IP68 Plug to LC IP68 Adapter
This LC IP68 Plug to LC IP68 Adapter Deployable Cable comes with a duplex IP68 LC Plug on one end of the cable and LC IP68 Adapters embedded in the centre of the reel. Once the cable is deployed the reel end can be patched to as required from the adapter to the equipment.
LC IP68 Plug to Broadcast Adapter
This LC IP68 Plug to Broadcast Adapter Deployable Cable comes with a duplex IP68 LC Plug on one end of the cable and a selection of Broadcast Adapters embedded in the centre of the reel. Once the cable is deployed the reel end can be patched to as required from the adapter to the equipment.
The LC IP68 fibre optic cable connector is designed to exceed the requirements of ODVA LC. The connectors meet IP68 environmental sealing ratings and are the ideal choice for low costing, easy solutions. These types of IP68 fibre optic cables are often used within the Broadcast & Media, Oil & Gas, Fibre to the Antenna (FTTA) and Data & Telecoms industries. In addition many other industries use them due to the suitability for harsh environments.
We supply the weather proof LC IP68 fibre optic cable connectors with an IP68 sealed, quick twist cap so that the ends do not get damaged or dirty. Particularly helpful when deploying or storing. The cap quickly releases allowing you to plug it directly into the LC IP68 adapter for connection onto your end piece of equipment. Plugging into a converter box that offers you standard terminated fibre connections is also possible.

LC IP68 Connectors offer a water and dust proof mating. Each LC IP68 plug comes with a cap which is retained on a lanyard when not in use and these IP68 fibre optic cables are supplied on cable reels that aid with deployment and retrieval however, cables are also available without reels depending on your requirements.
Weatherproof boxes with mountings are also available and by using our IP Inline adapters you can easily daisy chain connections to increase lengths.
