As with so many of the industries that we find ourselves working with, our insatiable appetite for faster access to information drives the development of new products and services to try and keep pace with giving us, the consumers, what we need. FTTA is no exception and with ever increasing bandwidth, which means more antennas and more cables, fibre is a good solution. FTTA options can also reduce energy consumption allowing the remote radio head to be cooled with natural air rather than requiring a conditioning system.
